Built on experience, Inspired By A passion for songwriting
Bill Smith and the team share their wealth of songwriting knowledge in a clear concise e-learning experience
The workshop was originally formed to help singers that attended the studio over a number of years who had aspirations to learn to song write. By meeting up as what became quite a sizeable group, they exchanged ideas in the studio that helped them through some of the early song writing hurdles.
As many said, Bill and his team were a real inspiration and the workshop was amazing. Their guidance on understanding the roles of industry producers, record companies and the ‘legal bit’ was such a help.
Interestingly, some of the workshop group attendees had songs that were potentially commercial. But what to do with them – that was the question.
The full group loved the collaboration forum and have already many tie up links with what may become long-term and hopefully successful partners. So, throughout the course, we explore a variety of music genres/styles and a multitude of techniques suited to different types of “would be” songs.
